Founded in 1996, by Judy Vaughan, director and board member of Alexandria House strives to help 25 women in the process of moving out. 

Alexandria House is a transitional residence for single women and women with children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing. They provide hospitality to approximately 24 women and children depending on family size. Women living in Alexandria House benefit from a supportive community and an encouraging environment.
