Clive Davis, knows as a “Titan” in the music industry, has passed away at the age of 94.

As a record executive, A&R executive, and lawyer Davis helped sign and guide the careers of countless legends including Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Sly & The Family Stone, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, and Bruce Springsteen.

Davis’ family shared in a statement that Clive “passed away peacefully from age-related illness” at home while “surrounded by his family and loved ones.”

Thank you for all you did for music.  Clive will be so missed.
