The American Red Cross faces an emergency blood shortage and is issuing an urgent call for blood and platelet donors to give now so patients can continue to receive the lifesaving treatment they need. 

Rock and roll up your sleeve with the Red Cross & 95.5 KLOS. Give blood at one of 10 participating locations July 23 through July 28. As a thank-you, all who come to give blood or platelets will receive a voucher to one of the Southland’s hottest concerts while supplies last.*

If you recently donated blood or have an appointment scheduled, thank you on behalf of the patients whose lives you may have touched.

At age 16-17 depending on state, individuals in generally good health who meet weight and height requirements may become eligible to donate blood. Please review our eligibility requirements as some states require parental consent. When donating, bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of ID.
