Cheap Trick’s lead guitarist Rick Nielsen stops by the virtual KLOS New & Approved series to reflect on his career and a current project with host Matt Pinfield.
As Nielsen shares past antidotes of his early tour life overseas, and speaking on artists that Cheap Trick has had an influence on, Rick reveals that his opportunity to work with the late John Lennon was “better than playing with Elvis”. The guitarist reflects on this moment as having made a great impact on his life and also shares details about his “Give Me Some Truth” cover.
