September 24th 1991 was a day that set the tone for what ’90s rock would sound like. It was the day that Nirvana released their quintessential album Nevermind, which pioneered the genre of grunge that was making its way into the mainstream.
For the record’s 30th anniversary, Geffen Records and UMe are reissuing Nevermind into a massive boxset scheduled to hit the shelves on November 12th. The Super Deluxe anniversary edition will include 8 LPs and a bonus 7″ with the song Endless, Nameless on the A-side with Even In His Youth and Aneurysm on the B-side. The LPs will be comprised of live audio from four of their concerts from 1991-1992 with some previously unreleased recordings and a remastered version of the original album. A 5-CD edition will also be available that includes the live audio along with a Blu-ray of Live In Amsterdam, Netherlands..
