Legendary Beach Boys’ front man, singer, songwriter, and composter Brian Wilson passed away yesterday at 82.

Brian Wilson has always been credited as a complete genius with his musical innovations ever since forming The Beach Boys in 1961. The Beach Boys were a family band originally consisting of  Brian ‘s brothers Dennis and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and their friend Al Jardine. The band encompassed the spirit of California and portrayed the sunny state as a place of freedom and a carefree lifestyle. Through their complex harmonies, melodies, and incredible arrangements, The Beach Boys would influence all the next generations of rock music through while led by Wilson.

Brian Wilson’s vision was unmatched and there will never be another like him. Thank you Brian Wilson for the music. You will be so missed!

KLOS sends our love to all of Brian Wilson’s loved ones.
