BBC Postpones Ozzy Osbourne Documentary

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home was set to premiere on the BBC last night.  The documentary dives into the final years of Osbourne’s career, although it was originally intended to be a 10-episode series showing Ozzy’s return to England.  Since Ozzy passed unexpectedly at the age of 76, the project changed to an hourlong film about the last years of his life

However, the documentary has now been postponed to honor the Osbourne family’s wishes.

“Our sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time,” the BBC stated. “We are respecting the family’s wishes to wait a bit longer before airing this very special film. The new [transmission] date will be confirmed shortly.”

The new date for the premiere has not been announced.
