Fans were devastated to hear that ZZ Top cancelled their show tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, where Cheap Trick was scheduled to open. The southern rock frontman Billy Gibbons wrote that there were “Insurmountable obstacles require canceling our Hollywood Bowl performance. Friends, fans and followers of ZZ Top are the best in the business and the band is counting on everyone to bear with us for this brief interruption.”
However, Cheap Trick is making it up to the fans. The band announced shortly after the official cancellation that they will performing at the legendary Troubadour club tonight in Los Angeles. Tickets sold out almost immediately, but the lucky attendees will be experiencing an unforgettable night.
