Ozzfest lives on! After 8 years, the legendary heavy metal festival will be returning in 2027.
The first Ozzfest took place in 1996 and continued annually until 2008 and occurred again in 2010, 2013, and 2015-2018.
Although Ozzy Osbourne, the king of Ozzfest, passed away in 2025, Osbourne would have wanted the festival to continue. “It was something Ozzy was very passionate about: giving young talent a stage in front of a lot of people,” Sharon Osbourne spoke with Billboard. “We really started metal festivals in this country. It was [replicated but] never done with the spirit of what ours was, because ours was a place for new talent.”
The lineup has not yet been announced, but dates and venues have been set:
July 10th, 2027: Milton Keynes, UK – The National Bowl
September 11th, 2027: San Bernadino, CA – Glen Helen Amphitheater
September 18, 2027: Mexico City, Mexico – Estadio GNP Seguros
