Slash Says There’s Material For a New Guns N’ Roses Album

Slash confirmed that there is already a new Guns N’ Roses album on the way.

Last week, guitarist Richard Fortus revealed that the band would head to the studio after Slash finishes touring. But in a new interview with TVK’S “Rock City,” Slash said the new record is already being worked on.

“Axl [Rose], Duff [McKagan], myself and Richard [Fortus] have all talked about… there’s material and stuff going on already for a new record,” said Slash in the interview.

He went on to say, “It’s just, with Guns N’ Roses, you don’t go, ‘Oh, there is a plan, and it’s gonna be like this,’ because that’s not how it works. So, basically, the only real answer to give is we’re hoping to put a new record out, and we’ll just see what happens when it happens.”
