Vanessa Bryant Announces Memorial Service for Kobe and Gianna

Vanessa Bryant posted on her Instagram today (Feb. 7) announcing “A Celebration of Life” for Kobe and Gianna Bryant.

The public memorial service will be held on Feb. 24 at Staples Center at 10am.

Bryant explained that the date of 2-24 was important because Gianna had worn No. 2 while Kobe had been No. 24 as basketball players. The 20 represented the number of years Kobe was on the Lakers team.
