Collective Soul Discusses Upcoming Album & Their Road To Success On New & Approved W/ Matt Pinfield

Rock band Collective Soul gathered for an interview with Matt Pinfield on this episode of New & Approved. The band is up to a lot lately and we get to hear all about their current endeavors in this conversation.

Last year, Collective Soul released their 11th studio album “Vibrating” and they’re already working on the next one, which will be titled “Here to Eternity.” The band is recording the album in Elvis Presley’s Palm Springs home, so naturally they discuss The King’s legacy with Matt. “Here to Eternity” will feature both hard-driven rock songs and relaxed, acoustic songs to reflect their Southern roots.

Collective Soul looks back with Matt on the past 30 years of music they’ve created. They also discuss the significant changes they experienced as they moved from Stockbridge to Atlanta, Georgia. Sharing a joy of music with each other is what they say is their secret to lasting for so many years. Collective Soul hopes to inspire younger generations to take on rock ‘n’ roll and keep the genre going.
