Judas Priest Release Cover of “War Pigs” With Ozzy Osbourne [VIDEO]

Judas Priest have just released a new version of Black Sabbath’s heavy metal staple War Pigs in a collaboration with the late Prince of Darkness.

The heavy metal legends had already released their own cover of War Pigs as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne a few days before his “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert in Birmingham.

When Ozzy’s wife Sharon heard the song, she brought an idea forward to Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford.

“She approached me with this idea, she said, ‘I love your version of ‘War Pigs.’ Is there a way we can get Ozzy?,'” Halford told our own Full Metal Jackie. “I was [like], ‘You’re asking me? This is gonna happen.'”

“It’s the first ever time in my entire life that I’ve been able to do a duet with Ozzy and I’m so eternally grateful and blessed that I was able to do that… it’s just going to a really special place.”
