Pittsburgh’s Erik Karlsson recorded two assists.Carl Grundstrom, Adrian Kempe and Kevin Fiala scored and Pheonix Copley made 16 saves for the Kings, who had their four-game winning streak end but extended their point streak to eight in a row (6-0-2).Before Rust scored the game-winner on a wraparound, he briefly celebrated with 1:34 left. However, an official review determined Pittsburgh was offsides before the goal.Crosby scored on a wraparound to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 7:11 of the first period and extend his point streak to seven games. It was also the 557th goal of Crosby’s NHL career, moving him into a tie for ninth place in the NHL history for the most goals with the same team. The Kings tied it 1-1 at 14:14 of the first when Grundstrom scored short-handed just as a Pittsburgh power play ended.Anze Kopitar beat Karlsson to a puck that was dumped into the Penguins’ zone, and he fed Grunstrom for the one-timer following a mistimed shift change by Pittsburgh.
