The Capitals did not get a power play.Anze Kopitar appeared to tie the game 2-2 at 11:10 of the third period, knocking in a one-timer from the right circle off a pass from Adrian Kempe. Washington challenged the play, and after a video review, it was ruled the Kings were offside entering the zone.Los Angeles got a power play less than a minute later but could not capitalize.Lindgren then made a stellar save on Kempe in front with 3:58 remaining, and Kempe skated out from behind Lindgren and hit the crossbar with just under three minutes to play.Washington was outshot 14-3 in the third period.
