Thompson made a pad save on Pierre-Luc Dubois in the second round and sealed the win with a glove save of a Kevin Fiala try in the third round.Los Angeles took a 1-0 lead at the 13:11 mark of the first period when Laferriere buried a rebound of a Dubois shot.The Kings made it 2-0 early in the second period with another rebound goal, this one by Lewis, who was parked in front of the crease and backhanded a shot through Thompson’s pads for his second goal of the season.
