Marc Jacobs Responds to Nirvana’s Lawsuit for “Blatant Ripoff”

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs requested that Nirvana’s lawsuit be dismissed.

This past December, the rock band filed a lawsuit against the fashion brand for its “blatant ripoff” of its famous logo.

The fashion designer’s lawyers defended the design, pointing out that the band does not own copyright for the smiley face graphic and that the word “Nirvana” is not used.
