On October 22, 1969 Led Zeppelin released their iconic, heavy weight album, Led Zeppelin ll.
The album was Zeppelin’s second studio album and focused more on blues material and riff-based sounds. With songs such as “Whole Lotta Love” and “Bring It On Home,” Zeppelin proved to be louder than ever.
It was the band’s first album to reach number one in the UK and the US. The heavy based record would later become a huge influence to future metal bands that followed and to date has gone 12 times platinum.
