It was 40 years ago today AC/DC released their sophomore album T.N.T. in Australia that would later catapult them into international stardom.
Just a year after adding Bon Scott to the lineup, AC/DC released their groundbreaking debut album High Voltage. On December 1, 1975, the band released T.N.T. which proved that AC/DC was on their way to super stardom. The two albums would later be combined and released in the US and UK under the title High Voltage.
T.N.T. peaked in Australia at No.2 and included several different aspects in the bands sound including a raunchy blues sound that can be heard in songs like “The Jack.”
