Classic rock is still proving to be a lucrative career.
Forbes recently released their annual list of highest paid performers in the music industry and several rockers landed in the top rankings. The first band to slide into one of the top spots are the Eagles, who raked in $73.5 million which landed them in fifth place.
Fleetwood Mac landed on the list at ninth-place with $59.5 million and the Rolling Stones came in just outside the top ten at 11th place with $57.5 million.
Further down the list are Elton John (No. 15, $53.5 million), Paul McCartney (No. 17, $51.5 million) and the Foo Fighters (No. 24, $38 million).
