Road to Dodger Stadium is now officially Vin Scully Ave.

After a unanimous (12-0) vote, legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully now has a street named after him. The motion was filed to rename the street by L.A. city councilman Gil Cedillo. The vote took place Friday at the City Council chambers and among those present were Clayton Kershaw, Yasiel Puig, Tommy Lasorda and Dave Roberts.

Scully announced earlier that 2016 will be his last year behind the mic. He’s been calling Dodgers games since 1950, while the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn.
