Sept. 8 (UPI) — A Michigan man combined some state pride with craftiness to create a state-shaped chair with a beer-dispensing Upper Peninsula.

Matt Thompson of Garden City said his original wooden chair in the shape of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula featured an Upper Peninsula-shaped table, but he wanted to improve on the design to put the U.P. above the chair where it belongs.
