Dave Grohl proved that he’s one of the nicest guys in rock, surprising first responders who are fighting the California wildfires to a home-cooked meal.
The Foo Fighters frontman stopped by Fire Station 68 in Calabasas, Los Angeles County on Monday to treat the station with barbecue from his own Backbeat BBQ brand.
Firefighters welcomed Grohl happily, sharing a group photo on their Instagram, with the caption, “It was excellent!” Grohl also posted a photo on his Backbeat BBQ Instagram page, writing, “To all the [Los Angeles Fire Department and LA County Fire Department] heroes we met last night…thank you. It was an honor to cook for you.”
