Actor Taron Egerton performed “Tiny Dancer” with Elton John at the musician’s annual Oscars party last night.

Egerton, who stars as John in the upcoming Rocketman, was not initially planning on singing. He was brought onto the stage during the evening’s auction when auctioneer Alexander Gilkes asked him to sing. Egerton then said the only way he would is if John accompanied him on the piano.

The party took place at the City of West Hollywood Park and successfully generated more than $6.3 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
