Zakk Wylde recently raved about what it was like to meet his hero, Elton John.

Wylde sat down for an interview with Ryan J. Downey at the Musicians Institute and discussed how his two musical inspirations were Black Sabbath and Elton John. Wylde ultimately got to meet John when Sharon Osbourne organized a hangout between them and Ozzy.

“I actually had a book my parents got me for Christmas. It was from 1975. I actually got him to sign it,” Zakk said. “I’m sitting there looking at Ozzy and I’m looking at Elton John. I’m going, ‘This is fucking insane, man. This is beyond Fonzie cool.'”
