Three years ago, Neil was represented in an assault case filed by a female fan who claimed the singer attacked her outside the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. Kelly Guerrero claimed that Neil grabbed her hair and dragged her to the ground when she asked for an autograph. He has since claimed that he was overbilled by the lawyers due to who he was.

A judge recently ruled against Neil. According to The Blast, court documents show that a Federal judge has ordered Neil to pay $148,962.50 in unpaid legal fees and $21,207.06 in outstanding court costs, for a total of $170,169.56.
