Sharon Osbourne Pulled Ozzy Osbourne From Black Sabbath Grammy Tribute

Sharon Osbourne refused to let Ozzy Osbourne attend the ceremony for the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award due to being snubbed at the actual Grammy Awards.

Earlier this year, Black Sabbath was one of the recipients of the Recording Academy’s award. Although Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward showed up for the ceremony, Ozzy was absent.

Sharon recently spoke to Celebrity Access, explaining why her husband did not attend. “I was just so pissed off at the Grammys this year because they gave them a Lifetime Achievement Award, but wouldn’t give it to them on the TV show that we all know as the Grammy Awards,” she said. “They did it at a separate ceremony which goes out on another network later on. I wouldn’t let Ozzy go because I just thought it was shocking what they did to them. So I wouldn’t let Ozzy go.”
