The Who Debuts New Song, ‘Big Cigars’

The Who debuted a new song called, “Big Cigars,” along with the announcement of a new album in November.

“Big Cigars” is the second new song to be debuted at the Moving On! orchestral tour after “Hero Ground Zero.” The song was actually first released as “Guantanamo” on Pete Townshend’s 2015 compilation album Truancy: The Very Best of Pete Townshend.

Townshend said, “Next year, hopefully, the songs that we release in November will be greatest hits. … Or maybe they won’t. Listen, you can sit or stand, you can dance, you can go to sleep – I don’t give a fuck. You’ve bought your ticket. It’s done. It’s a done deal! … I seriously wish we were sharper tonight. I know we’re not on top form. But you know, you have given us so much love. We appreciate it!”
