Chris Cornell’s Widow Sues Soundgarden

Chris Cornell’s widow is suing his former band over unpaid royalties due to the family.

According to TMZ, the dispute spans over the course of seven unreleased songs. The legal documents reportedly detail an “unlawful attempt to strong-arm Chris’ Estate into turning over certain audio recordings created by Chris before he passed away.” Vicky Cornell argues that the songs were “solely authored by Chris; contain Chris’ own vocal tracks; and were bequeathed to Chris’ Estate” for the benefit of his family.”
