Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist for Rush, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Peart, who passed at the age of 67, had been secretly battling brain cancer for the past three years. The news was confirmed online by the band in a message that also asked fans to “choose a cancer research group or charity of their choice and make a donation in Neil’s name.”
