Together with his musical partner Darrell “Dash” Crofts, Jim Seals helped to create some of the most iconic soft rock in history. The duo Seals & Crofts started creating their harmonious music in the late ’60s and released a number of soft-rock hits throughout the 1970s including their staple Summer Breeze.

Sadly, Jim Seals passed away this week at the age of 80. Brady Seals, a relative of Jim’s, announced his the singer’s death on social media writing, “I just learned that James ‘Jimmy’ Seals has passed. My heart just breaks for his wife Ruby and their children. Please keep them in your prayers. What an incredible legacy he leaves behind.”

We appreciate all of the music that Jim provided for the world. We send our love to all of his loved ones.
