COVID, surgery, and injuries cannot stop Ozzy Osbourne! The Prince of Darkness has now released a brand new song today called Degradation Rules.

The single, which will be featured on Ozzy’s upcoming album Patient Number Nine, reunites Ozzy with his former Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi who plays guitar on the track.

Osbourne hinted as the song’s probable “mature” meanings when he brought up the subject with his co-host Billy Morrison on Sirius XM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard channel.

“You know what it’s about, don’t you?” Osbourne asked Morrison. The co-host replied, “Is [it] that the lyrics [mention] ‘masturbation’ and ‘red’? The RedTube thing is funny. I mean, that’s really funny.” Osbourne added, “Yeah, it’s — I didn’t know.”

Iommi isn’t the only celebrity guest featured on Patient Number Nine, which is set to be released this September. Jeff Beck (who plays on the title track that debuted last month), Eric Clapton, Zakk Wylde, and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready are a few of the well-known legends who also appear on the record.
