Art Alexakis Speaks With Matt Pinfield About Celebrating 30 Years With Everclear on New & Approved

Everclear has been rocking for over thirty years now. Frontman Art Alexakis recently joined Matt Pinfield to celebrate the past three decades with the band for this episode of New & Approved.

Art recently found the original master tapes of Everclear’s 1993 debut album “World Of Noise” hidden away in storage. Thinking these sounded even better than the record, the recordings have now been released digitally for the first time and will be coming soon on vinyl.

During this interview, we also learn about Art’s childhood growing up in Southern California. He was inspired by The Beatles and spent his teen years playing in multiple bands until he moved to Oregon in 1992. This is where he would form what would be his last band (Everclear).

According to Art, Everclear is still on the move and has many exciting things coming up. Their upcoming song “Year Of The Tiger” will be released next month and they are currently touring North America. You can catch Everclear October 21st at the Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California!
