1 Year Since Charlie Watts’ Passing

On August 24th 2021, we lost one of the most legendary drummers in rock ‘n’ roll history. It was the day that Rolling Stones’ drummer Charlie Watts passed away at the age of 80.

Charlie Watts, aka The Wembley Whammer, was a Rolling Stone from 1963 up until his death and was the only other member other than Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to play on each of the band’s albums. He has been so missed the past year, but The Stones have continued to perform to honor their late bandmate.

Many beautiful tributes have been posted on social media today for the anniversary of Charlie Watts’ passing.
