Last year, Nita Strauss became the first female rock solo artist to the top the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart since 1990 with her song Dead Inside, which featured vocals from David Draiman of Disturbed. To follow-up this magnificent feat, Strauss has just released a new single Summer Storm.
Summer Storm showcases Nita’s primary talent…shredding. The instrumental metal song is what Strauss feels most comfortable playing. “Instrumental music is where my heart is, and ‘Summer Storm’ might be the song I feel captures my personal style the most: cathartic, driving and emotional,” Strauss mentioned. “While a lot of the upcoming record will have guest vocalists, I’m also so proud of the instrumental tracks and excited to officially unleash this one on the world!”
Strauss also recently announced she would no longer be touring with Alice Cooper who she has been supporting since 2014. Her next journey finds her on the road with Demi Lovato.
