Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Myles Kennedy always stays busy with music. For this episode of “New & Approved,” Myles speaks with Matt Pinfield about Alter Bridge, The Conspirators, and playing with some of the biggest rockstars in history.

Alter Bridge will be releasing their 7th studio album “Pawns & Kings” this October. Myles and Matt discuss a few singles from the upcoming record including “Silver Tongue,” “This Is War,” and “Dead Among The Living” along with how they came to be.

Myles’ creativity extends outside of music as well. During this interview, Myles talks about acting in the 2001 film “Rockstar” and how magnificent it was to work with Mark Wahlberg and witness how Hollywood creates movies.

Many legendary musicians recognize Myles’ extraordinary talent and have sought to work with him. Myles discusses the incredible time when he jammed with Led Zeppelin members in London and what a thrill the experience was. We also learn about how he first met Slash and how their collaboration began.
