After seven years, original lead vocalist Tom DeLonge is officially back in Blink-182.

Blink fans all over the world have been losing it over the news that was announced yesterday on the band’s social media. Along with the mega-announcement, the band also excited their fans when they stated a new single Edging will be released on Thursday and a whole new album will also soon be coming.

But wait, there’s still more! Blink-182 also disclosed dates for an extensive world tour that will take off in March 2023 in Mexico and continue all the way to February 2024. The tour will also be covering the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2015 to pursue his own solo endeavors and was replaced with Alkaline guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba. During the past year, DeLonge has hinted about working with Blink again, but made no clear indications that he would return to his official membership. As expected, now that the band consists of DeLonge, drummer Travis Barker, and bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus, diehard fans are pretty stoked (to say the least).

Tickets for Blink-182’s upcoming world tour go on sale this Monday, October 17th at 10AM local time. They will be stopping by Los Angeles to perform at the Banc of California Stadium June 16th, 2023.
