Halloween Rock ‘N’ Roll Ghost Stories: Jimi Hendrix

New Haven, Connecticut is already known for being a home to a plethora of ghosts. There are several haunted houses tourists can visit and a multitude of walking tours you can sign up for. People have reported hearing piano music underneath the lake and that some of the dolls are haunted. But most importantly of all the paranormal activity, some have claimed that Jimi Hendrix also hangs out in the city.

People have said they can hear Jimi playing at the Woolsey Hall in Yale University, which Hendrix played at with his band on November 17th, 1968. Perhaps, this might have been his favorite gig and why he chose the spot to take up residence after his death. Either way, we’re pretty down to hear Hendrix again even in a ghostly form.

Whether it’s all speculation or Jimi Hendrix really does haunt the grounds of Yale University, we can still celebrate the legend by watching this iconic performance:
