Ozzy Osborne Wins 2 Awards at the 2023 Grammys

While Ozzy Osbourne just announced his retirement from touring, there’s no chance he could ever stay away from the spotlight. Last night, The Prince of Darkness took home 2 awards from the 2023 Grammys; “Best Rock Album” for Patient Number 9 and “Best Metal Performance” for his song Degradation Rules.

Osbourne could not make it to the ceremony, so the Grammys were accepted by Producer Andrew Watt and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo (who was involved with Patient Number 9).

“We had so much fun making this album,” Watt said in his acceptance speech for Ozzy. “We got to unite Ozzy and Tony together [for “Degradation Rules”] and make a great song. So I talked to Ozzy on the car ride on the way over and he had two messages for the people: ‘I love you all … and fuck off!’”

Congratulations Ozzy! The awards were more than deserved for Osbourne who has had quite a year.
