Alternative rock band Bush has been blessing the world with music since they formed in London in 1992, and they’re not stopping any time soon. Lead singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale joined Matt Pinfield in the middle of tour for this episode of New & Approved to discuss all the latest endeavors of Bush.

Last October, Bush released their ninth studio album “The Art of Survival.” Gavin discusses the “survival” theme of the album and how the record’s songs reflect the guts it takes to be a go-getter. He also talks about the musical collaboration that takes place with bandmate Chris Traynor and how they feed off each other so seamlessly when it comes to writing and performing.

Bush is currently on tour with support from Jerry Cantrell, Candlebox and Silversun Pickups at select dates. Gavin tells Matt about the tour and how the band chooses between 30 years of songs for each setlist. Gavin also gives us a sneak peek into what’s coming for Bush (including new music).
