Last year, the Foo Fighters endured a massive tragedy when they unexpectedly lost their beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins. The devastation left fans wondering if the band would ever continue without Taylor.

As Taylor would have wanted, the Foo Fighters will not stop blessing us with their music. As they prepare for upcoming concerts and festivals, the band just announced who will be providing their backbeat. Josh Freese will now officially be stepping in as the Foos’ drummer.

Freese is an experienced veteran in rock music as he has played with The Vandals, Devo, Guns N’ Roses, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, and Sublime with Rome along with appearing on over 400 records as a session drummer. The Foo Fighters seem to be in good hands.
