60 years in the business and The Rolling Stones aren’t slowing down any time soon. The English “bad boys” of rock just released another new song Angry along with an accompanying music video.

With its raw ’60s British Invasion tone and gritty Keith Richards guitar riffs, Angry is reminiscent of the classic, early Stones sound. Angry is also the first single from the band’s upcoming album Hackney Diamonds, which is set to be released on October 20th.

Hackney Diamonds will be The Stones’ first original studio album since 2005’s Bigger Bang and the first album released since drummer Charlie Watts’ death in 2019. Two of the record’s twelve songs were recorded in 2019 with Watts, but the rest will feature new drummer Steve Jordan.

Mick Jagger stated about Hackney Diamonds, “We didn’t want to make just any record and put it out, we wanted to make a record that we really love.”
