Stone Gossard, guitarist of legendary rock band Pearl Jam, spoke with Matt Pinfield about Pearl Jam’s latest album “Dark Matter” for this episode of New & Approved.

Last month, Pearl Jam released their 12th studio album “Dark Matter” along with the title track. Gossard discusses the record’s recording process, working with famous producer Andrew Watt, collaborating with his bandmates, and much more. He also talks with Matt about Loose Groove Records, the record label he co-founded in 1994. Gossard also unveils some of his favorite records growing up as he was a fan of heavy metal, punk rock, glam rock, and even pop music. These different genres inspired the music he would create with Pearl Jam.
