Happy Halloween! For the final ghost story of the series, today involves the paranormal activity of the Lizard King.

In 1997, rock historian Brett Meisner took a photo standing next to Doors’ frontman Jim Morrison’s grave at Pere Lachaise cemetery and didn’t give the photo a second thought when it was developed. It wasn’t until five years later when Meisner spotted an eerie cloud-like blur that almost looked exactly like Jim Morrison. Meisner didn’t want to make any rash claims, so he had the photograph analyzed and researchers stated that there wasn’t any possibility the photo was manipulated or the light created an illusion. They claimed the photo “unexplainable.”

Since visiting Morrison’s tomb, Meisner says strange events have been happening, as if the Lizard King is haunting him. Shortly after the visit, Meisner’s close friend died of a drug overdose and his marriage failed.

If you don’t believe it’s truly Jim Morrison hanging out in the background of the photo, check out this video for more about the story.
