That’s why Jeff Malanca (aka “Surf Junkie Jeff”) was hired; to help KLOS listeners find the best waves in SoCal. “Surf Junkie Jeff’s” daily surf reports can be heard each weekday morning with Frosty, Heidi & Frank at 6am, 7am and 8am.
Besides surfing, Jeff has been doing radio for more than 20 years. In addition to a long track record of reporting about the surf and snow for several stations up and down the California Coast, he has also worked in television where he did on-camera reporting at KDOC TV’s Daybreak OC and Fox’s Fuel TV.
