With the 2nd pick in 2015 NBA Draft the Lakers drafted D’Angelo Russell. Although many considered Jahlil Okafor the safer pick, the Lakers front office decided that Russell had the most upside. And with it being the 36th anniversary of the Lakers drafting a guy name Earvin Magic Johnson you can’t do anything but hope and dream.
