Gun N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus has been injured in a motorcycle accident according to an announcement by the Dead Daisies and is on the mend.

Fortus, who is currently playing with his band the Dead Daisies, was injured in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago and has left him with a list of injuries.

“I broke my shoulder blade, collarbone, six ribs, a toe, I have a bruised lung, lacerated liver and a concussion.” Said Fortus.

As a result of his injuries, Fortus will not be able to play the Australian and New Zealand tour with the Dead Daisies, who are on tour with Kiss. However, Fortus is expected to make a full recovery by the time the Dead Daisies embark on this year’s Kiss Kruise. In the meantime guitarist Richard Leslie will be filling in for Fortus.
