The original recording console used on Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” is going up for auction.

The console is regarded as a “piece of Britain’s modern cultural history,” according to Bonhams auction house specialist Claire Tole-Moir. In a press release, she stated that it’s “hard to overestimate how crucial a role this console has played in the British rock and pop scene.” One can only imagine how high the final purchase price will be.
