In a somewhat random turn of events, Marilyn Manson joined country icon Kris Kristofferson during a concert this weekend.

In Los Angeles at The Ace Hotel, Manson also joined Tanya Tucker, Shooter Jennings, and Dennis Quaid to perform Kristofferson’s “Why Me,” a song with religious tones.

As unexpected as this collaboration seems, Manson posted an Instagram photo with the country star and called the experience “an honor.” Watch a video of the performance below.
