Rocketman took third-place at the box office this weekend.

Earning $25 million in the U.S., the movie finished behind Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which brought in $49 million, and Aladdin, which landed at second-place with $42.3 million. Internationally, Rocketman earned $19.2 million in 40 markets.

Overall, the film has taken in $56 million in total so far, passing its budget of $40 million as well as predictions by movie industry insiders, who had predicted that the film would bring in roughly half of the budget.
